Chapbooks

I love chapbooks. Honestly, I enjoy chapbooks more than so-called “full-length” collections. The fact of the matter is that a chapbook is a full-length collection; it’s just not as long. They’re intimate. You can read them in a sitting. And they can have a much tighter theme than most longer works.

I am the author of four chapbooks, with a manuscript or two in the works.

  • While Grasshoppers Mate - A limited edition from a local mini-press, Spare Change Press. Released in 2008.
  • The Alphabetical Atheist – An electronic chapbook of prose poems. Released by Scars Publication in 2009.
  • America Plops and Fizzes – A collection of fifty haiku-sized poems. Forthcoming from sunnyoutside press.
  • Foreclosure Dogs – Poems for/from the economic downturn. Forthcoming from Winged City Press.
