The most exciting event to happen in my relatively short publishing career happend about a week ago – my first chapbook was published! Yay for me.
It’s called While Grasshoppers Mate and was published by a local small press, Spare Change. The cover art was done by an amazing artist I knew from school, Scot Philip. It’s a short collection, centered on my Ohio location (though there is some potent political stuff as well). It’s a limited edition run, only 20 copies, so while it won’t be making the bestseller lists anytime soon, I’m still incredibly excited.
